DMV: Uh, never mind
Some California drivers are receiving delinquency notices from the DMV even though they renewed their vehicle registration on time.
The problem began in July, when DMV stopped mailing renewal notices until the bickering Legislature decided on vehicle license fee levels. Roadkill
Speaking of road lumps, there have been a lot of skunk sightings in Sacramento neighborhoods at night lately. What to do if you hit one? Call animal control. In the city, that’s 311. If the animal is alive, they’ll try to save it. If it is dead, it’s a road hazard and needs to be removed.
